How long does it take to set up an entity?
- In Nevada, the process of registering an entity can take up to 2 weeks, however, this depends on the volume of pending applications at the Nevada Secretary of State's office. Some filings come back in 7 days, others in 20 days. 14 days is a realistic expectation. You can choose to have your Nevada filing expedited while completing the Entity Application for a $200 expedited filing fee. Orders made with this request will be processed within 48 hours by the state.
- In Utah, the process of registering an entity can take up to 1 week. You can choose to have your Utah filing expedited while completing the Entity Application for a $50 expedited filing fee. Orders made with this request will be processed within 48 hours by the state.
- Both States require you (the business owner) to sign the application documents. We typically prepare the documents and email them to you to sign. After you have signed and returned the documents, they are submitted to the Secretary of State office.
